Dispatch

Please allow up to 3 working days for us to process & dispatch your order. You will receive a dispatch email displaying your tracking number order is ready to be collected by the courier.

Delivery

Estimated delivery is 1-3 working days. Delivery time begins when Courier Post collects your parcel.

Exact delivery time is subject to local CourierPost delivery, check CourierPost for up to date info on deliveries to your specific location.

Changes to your Delivery

Once your parcel is with Courier Post, you must contact Courier Post directly to change your delivery details.

We take great care in designing our products, and hope you enjoy them, however, if you are not completely satisfied with your Groundd products within 30 nights of receiving your order, you may return it to us for a full refund if it is returned and meets the eligibility as per our Return Policy below.

Return Policy

1. Your product must have been received within the last 30 days
2. Your product is not a final sale product - ie clearance products which are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged
3. Your product is is like new condition- this means no damage, pet hair, or other used conditions.
4. Your product is packaged in the original packaging
5. Groundd does not cover the cost of return shipping

Notes

• We donate the returned blankets so please understand that we cannot offer a full refund if your blanket is not returned in appropriate condition and needs cleaning. If any cleaning is required due to pet hair, minor stains etc. your refund will be reduced by 50%. If major cleaning is required or the blanket is not in acceptable condition to be donated, then we unfortunately cannot offer a refund.
• If we cannot offer a refund, you can request for us to ship the products back to you at your cost. 

For weighted blankets, we recommend trying the blanket for up to 5 nights as it can take time for your body to adjust to sleeping under a weighted blanket.

Exchanges

We gladly assist many customers to find the weight/size that suits them best with prompt exchanges of weighted blankets. If you would like to swap your blanket within 30 days of receiving it, please contact us: hello@groundd.nz

Returns

Step 1: Ensure your products are eligible for a refund by meeting our Return Policy above

Step 3: Send your order to us, we recommend using tracked mail as we are not responsible for your order until it arrives back to us. Cost of mailing back to us is not covered by Groundd.

Please write your order number somewhere clearly on the box so we know which order it is.

Step 4: We will inspect your return and notify you if and deductions will be made to your refund based on condition or missing contents. This may take up to 7 days.

Step 5: We will process a refund to your original payment method, this can take up to 10 working days to appear back in your account. 

2 year warranty period

If our products have any defects during normal use, we’ll do what it takes to make it right, within 730 days of your purchase.

Weighted Blankets

Outer layer: OEKO-TEX 100 certified cotton outer layer.

Filled with BPA and lead free glass beads within a thin microfibre polyester layer to protect and prevent beads from pooling.

OEKO-TEX certified for chemical safety. For more information about what this means, see question below.

Bamboo Bedding

100% organic Bamboo Lyocell

This silky smooth fabric is as light as a feather against your skin, highly breathable and is moisture wicking. The fabric is also naturally durable, antibacterial and anti fungal. These properties makes it the ideal fabric to sleep with, including for hot sleepers.

The fabric is not only ultra functional & comfortable to sleep with but unlike most bamboo fabrics, which are usually produced using the viscose method, bamboo lyocell is produced using a closed-loop system making it completely eco-friendly. See the next question for more details on how this innovative material is so sustainable.

The covers come in our Glacier colour, which is a soft grey blue with a lustrous finish and a calming tone.

The cover is also OEKO-TEX certified for chemical safety.

• Groundd weighted blankets are hand wash only. Dissolve detergent in warm water before washing and air dry.

We recommend using with the cover on for general protection of your weighted blanket and easy washing, similar to a duvet cover.

Putting The Cover On

The cover has a full side opening with a zipper. This allows for wide open access to the interior of the cover where there are 8 ties to attach to the blanket.

1. Open zip & flip the cover inside out and lay it flat on the floor or bed.

2 Lay the blanket out on top of the cover, and tie all the pieces together.

3. Turn the cover the right-side-out and voilà your weighted blanket will be perfectly aligned inside the cover and anchored in place.
