- Communications: messages you send us, such as customer support emails and reviews
- Website and device information: your internet protocol address, browser and device type, pages you visit, and how you use our website, collected through cookies and similar technologies
3. How we collect it
We collect personal information directly from you when you place an order, sign up for emails or text messages, contact us, or leave a review. We also collect some information automatically when you use our website, and occasionally from third parties such as organisations that arrange purchases on your behalf, or advertising platforms.

5. Who we share it with
We don’t sell your personal information. We share it only with organisations that help us run Groundd, including:

We expect these organisations to protect your information and use it only for the purposes we’ve shared it for.
6. Information sent overseas
Some of our service providers store or process information outside New Zealand and Australia, mainly in the United States and Canada. Information about New Zealand customers may also be shared with our Australian company, and the reverse, so we can serve you. When we send information overseas, we take reasonable steps to make sure it’s protected to a standard comparable to New Zealand and Australian law.
7. Marketing
We’ll only send you marketing emails or text messages if you’ve agreed to receive them. Every message includes a way to unsubscribe. Even if you unsubscribe, we’ll still send you messages about your orders.
8. Cookies
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to make the website work, remember your cart, understand how people use the site and show you relevant advertising. You can control cookies through your browser settings, although some parts of the website may not work properly if you turn them off.
9. Keeping your information secure
We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information from loss, misuse and unauthorised access. We keep it only as long as we need it for the purposes above, or as required by law (for example, tax records). If a privacy breach is likely to cause you serious harm, we’ll tell you and notify the Privacy Commissioner in New Zealand or the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner, as required.
10. Accessing and correcting your information
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it if it’s wrong. You can also ask us to delete it, unless we need to keep it for legal reasons. Contact us using the details below. We may need to confirm your identity first, and we’ll respond within 20 working days in New Zealand, or 30 days in Australia.
